The KK 14 Z is a high-quality printed circuit connector designed with a DIL design and a 2.54 mm pitch suitable for through-hole technology (THT soldering). Featuring 14 poles arranged in two rows, this connector ensures reliable electrical connections with its CuSn-alloy contact material and tin-plated contact surface enhanced by a nickel underlayer with 5 to 10 µm of tin. The insulating body, colored RAL 7032, offers excellent durability with a temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and meets the UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. It provides robust insulation with a nominal voltage rating of 250 V AC (insulation group A, VDE 0110) and withstands a test voltage of 500 V AC, supported by a creepage distance of ≥0.7 mm and clearance of ≥0.5 mm according to VDE 0110 standards. The connector also exhibits a very high specific insulation resistance of over 10^12 Ω·m and complies with the KC 175 tracking resistance standard (DIN 53480).
This connector is ideal for applications requiring secure and stable connections in industrial electronics and device manufacturing. Its compatibility with ribbon cables of AWG 28 to 30 (0.09 to 0.05 mm² cross-section) and insulation diameters up to 1.1 mm, including both solid and stranded conductors, makes it versatile for various wiring configurations.
