High quality electronic tubes

Electronic tubes are active components that were invented at the beginning of the 20th century. On the one hand, it was possible to generate electrical signals with the help of the electron tube. But it was also used to amplify current flowing through it. Most often, these components were used to convert alternating voltage into direct voltage.

A special form of the electron tube is the so-called cathode ray tube. Through it, a focused electron beam is generated. Magnetic and electric fields influence this electron beam in a special way so that a visible image is finally produced. The cathode ray tube thus used to serve as the picture tube in televisions. Starting in the 1950s, transistors gradually replaced the electronic tubes.

However, they are still used today as amplifiers in amateur radio. In the field of music, the demand for electronic tubes has increased especially in recent years - guitarists and bass players still appreciate the sound typical of tube amplifiers. Historic instrument enthusiasts also rely on electronic tubes to continue to operate instruments and fixtures.
