FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) connectors connect flat ribbon cables to printed circuit boards or other cables. They are high-density and particularly narrow in order to fit into tight spaces. FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connectors enable the connection of flexible, printed circuits to a printed circuit board.

The ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) connector makes it easier to insert connection cables, for example for displays. The cable is pushed into the connector without the need for force, and the connector then fixes it securely in place with the help of a movable element that either folds down or slides in.
