Universal cleaning agents for industry

To counteract the wear of electrical components and of electronic as well as electrical components, the use of industrial cleaning agents (e.g., special parts cleaners) is recommended. Fine deposits, rust or fine dust in electrical equipment can be removed with acidic special cleaners.

After cleaning the parts, it is advisable to apply multifunctional oils. These provide additional protection against further contamination and against corrosion. They are water repellent and heat resistant. They are used on larger machines and engines in the aerospace and automotive sectors.

Contact sprays from CRC Industries

Oxide layers, fine dust or general contamination reduce the performance and lifetime of electronic as well as electrical components. To prevent external contamination, the use of contact sprays is recommended - for example, to optimally maintain the current flow. Contact sprays are also used for the care and protection of socketed components, relay contacts or switches.

Contact sprays from CRC are characterized by fast action, with dirt being removed during the initial application. The high-quality sprays dry out quickly without leaving residues on the components.

Protective coatings for electronic components

Protective coatings are hydrophobic coatings for plastic parts and metal parts. After appropriate application, the coated surface (e.g., an electronic contact) is resistant to water, grease, mud, sand, and other contaminants. In the electrical industry, protective coatings are suitable, among other things, for protecting printed circuit boards.

Protective paints and coatings can be used in all industrial sectors (e.g., automotive, or medical technology). Due to the protective function of special aerosols, power failures caused by defective electrical components can be prevented. Acrylic resin coatings are permanently durable after curing and resistant to thermal influences.

SOLVENT 50 label solvent spray 81009-AC

Specially formulated for the properties of self-adhesive paper labels, SOLVENT 50 penetrates the surface material and dissolves the adhesive film. After only a short exposure time of two to four minutes, the paper labels can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue. The solvent spray is suitable for use on various materials such as metal, glass, cardboard or on plastics. The use on Plexiglas or CD covers is not recommended.

Due to the short exposure time of SOLVENT 50, serial application on several labels at the same time is possible. For smaller labels the product SOLVENT 50 SUPER offers the suitable solution: The dosing brush allows a selective application.

KONTAKT LR PCB Cleaner Manufacturer Series 84013-AA

The KONTAKT LR PCB Cleaners of the CRC brand are used to remove fluxes and PCB contaminants (e.g., fine dust). Based on organic solvents (free of CHCs and CFCs), the cleaners are more environmentally friendly, and less harmful fumes are released. The clip-on brush head allows safe and time-saving application.

Surfaces dry quickly without leaving residues due to the chemical composition of the PCB cleaner. KONTAKT LR is suitable for cleaning printed circuit boards and other electronic assemblies - especially before and after soldering work or repairs. The product can also be used to prepare surfaces for protective coatings.

Protective and insulating varnish of product series 74313-AA - PLASTIK 70

PLASTIK 70 is an acrylic resin based protective and insulating varnish. Primarily, the varnish is used for the protection or insulation of printed circuit boards, whereby leakage currents or short circuits can be minimized. Furthermore, the protective lacquer is also suitable for post-insulation of coils and transformers. The fast drying, colourless insulating lacquers or protective lacquers are visually inconspicuous on the surfaces of printed circuit boards.

PLASTIK 70 can be soldered through during repair work on circuit boards or printed circuit boards. Acetone removes the lacquer completely from sealed surfaces. For more extensive applications, PLASTIK 70 can also be applied with a brush or components can be completely coated with the lacquer by dipping.
