The UGVC2410-13.4KJ contains ultracapacitors inside the housing to store energy. When connected to the mains, the device is charged by an external, regulated DC power supply. If the DC supply is interrupted, the energy stored in the ultracapacitors is released in a controlled manner. The load is supplied by the UGVC2410-13.4KJ until it is discharged. The buffer time depends on the state of charge of the ultracapacitors and the discharge current.
