This PLA version of the Thalassa PLA is a multi-purpose, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for various applications it measures 500 mm in height, 750 mm in width, and 320 mm in depth. Made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass,. The enclosure is designed to provide durability and resistance to harsh environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. It is available in grey (RAL 7035). The enclosure consists of two side parts, one plain front door, one rear panel, and a sealed top and bottom part. The door can open up to 120° from either the right or left side, and features a two-point lock with a 5 mm double-bar insert.

The door and rear panel are removable for maintenance purposes. The enclosure offers robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impacts, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It has an IK10 rating (IEC 62262), indicating high resistance to impacts it is rated IP65 (IEC 60529), offering complete protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and allow for the building of totally insulated solutions. It is DNV Marine and Veritas certified, and UL/cUL listed It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -35 °C to 90 °C without affecting its performance.
