The ET553ADJY2B is a CMOS-based low-dropout (LDO), low-power linear regulator that delivers up to 500 mA with low dropout voltage, high ripple rejection, high output accuracy, and low supply current. The ETQ553ADJYB consists of an accurate voltage reference, an error amplifier, a resistor network for voltage setting, a PMOSFET pass device, a thermal shutdown circuit, and a current limit circuit with short-circuit protection. The ET553ADJY2B uses an advanced CMOS process to minimize supply current. A low on-resistance PMOS pass device enables low dropout voltage. It also features an enable (EN) function to reduce power consumption and extend battery life.
