LED strip with IP protection has a silicone micro-coating to protect against splash water and dew. This means that Barthelme lighting solution can also be used for application in environment with increased humidity or dew (e.g. bathroom and protected outdoor area). Please note that the IP protection layer is damaged when cutting and soldering the LED strip. To restore full protection, the cut and soldered area must therefore be resealed. The use of plug connector is not permitted for LED strip with IP protection.
