The LEA delivers up to 40× the performance of Arm Cortex-M0+ microcontrollers, enabling developers to efficiently process data using complex operations such as FFT, FIR, and matrix multiplication. Implementation is simplified with the help of a free, optimized DSP library-no specialized DSP expertise required. With up to 256KB of unified FRAM memory, the MSP430FR5964IPMR offers ample space for advanced applications and provides flexibility for seamless over-the-air firmware updates.

Built on the MSP430 ultra-low-power (ULP) FRAM platform, the MSP430FR5964IPMR combines embedded FRAM with a holistic low-power system architecture that allows designers to boost performance while reducing energy consumption. FRAM technology delivers low-energy, fast writes and combines the flexibility and endurance of RAM with the nonvolatile characteristics of flash memory.
