Latch decoder driver, CMOS, SOP-16, Texas Instruments CD4511BNSR
NCNR (non cancelable / non returnable)
Latch Decoder Driver, CD4511BNSR, Texas Instruments
The CD4511BNSR type is a BCD-to-7-segment latch decoder driver constructed with CMOS logic and an n-p-n bipolar transistor output device on a single monolithic structure. This device combines the low quiescent power dissipation and high noise immunity feature of RCA CMOS with an n-p-n bipolar output transistor capable of sourcing up to 25 mA. This capability allows the CD4511BNSR type to drive an LED and other display directly. Lamp Test (LT), Blanking (BL), and Latch Enable or Strobe input is provided to test the display, shut off or intensity-modulate it, and store or strobe a BCD code, respectively. A different signal may be multiplexed and displayed when external multiplexing circuitry is used.
Features
- Input latches for BCD Code storage
- Lamp Test and Blanking capability
Applications
- Driving common-cathode LED displays
- Multiplexing with common-cathode LED displays
- Driving incandescent displays
- Driving low-voltage fluorescent displays
