Floor standing polyester enclosure, NSYPLAZ12104G, Schneider Electric
This PLAZ version of the PLA is a multi-purpose, floor-standing enclosure that is suitable for a variety of applications. It has a nominal height of 1250 mm, a width of 1000 mm, and a depth of 420 mm. The enclosure is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, providing durability and resistance to harsh environments. It is available in grey (RAL 7035) and consists of two side parts, two plain front doors, two rear panels, and one plinth. The door can be opened up to 120° from both the right and left sides, and features a four-point lock with a handle that has a 5 mm double-bar insert.
The doors and rear panels can be removed for maintenance purposes. The enclosure offers robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fire up to 960 °C, in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. It has an IP54 rating (IEC 60529), providing protection against dust and water additionally. The enclosure has class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and enable the construction of totally insulated solutions. It is designed for easy access to the equipment inside, with rear, bottom, and front accessibility.
