LOCTITE® 638 50 ml bonding adhesives

High-strength, fast-curing universal adhesive for cylindrical components, offering high strength on all metals, including passive metals. Fluorescent under UV light for quality control. LOCTITE® 638 offers high temperature performance and good oil tolerance, a hand-tightening time of only four minutes, and achieves a gap filling of 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm (0.006“ to 0.01”). The product also tolerates minor surface contamination, e.g., from industrial oils. The high-viscosity bonding adhesive is ideal for shafts, gears, pulleys, and similar cylindrical parts. The operating temperature range is between -55°C and 180°C (-65°F to 355°F). Meets the requirements of KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 certified for hydrogen gas mixtures with up to 100% hydrogen gas.
