The W440023 is specifically designed for stripping high temperature wire insulation made of thermostable materials such as Teflon*, Kapton*, silicone rubber, etc. from 28 to 18 AWG (0.321 to 1.020 mm).
The self-centering design ensures perfect alignment of the tip so that the insulation can be removed without damaging the conductor.
This cartridge series works with the WS440 high-temperature stripping tweezers, which have an adjustable stripping gauge for selecting the stripping length.
