This cable type with electrostatic screening (St) protects the transmission circuits against extern electrical interferences. Installation cables laid up in pairs are preferably used for telecommunications installations, in dry and damp premises, and in or under plaster, in the open air for fixed installation. This cable is suitable for telephone stations and sub-extensions, for signal and data transmission. Telephone-Installation cables are not allowed for purposes of high current and power installation.
