For stranded and solid wires, can be installed without stripping the cable ends and without special tools. You only need a standard pair of combination pliers to terminate the wires by pressing the two insulating elements together. This perforates the wire insulation and produces a reliable contact to the conductor. The shell is made of color-coded nylon and the contacts of tinned brass. The load capacity depends on the conductor cross-section used. Max; Insulation diameter type 398/411: 4.0/5.0 mm. Dimensions A/B in mm: type 398 = 12.5/7.0 mm, type 411 = 16.2/11.8 mm.
