by.B – Bürklin Elektronik launches into the next round with high-quality private label for development teams

Quality according to Bürklin standards

"By.B stands for quality – according to Bürklin Elektronik's standards," explains Helmut Müller (Chief Product Officer at Bürklin Elektronik). "The 'by.B' means 'by Bürklin' and guarantees that our private label follows the same high standards as our entire product range."

To ensure this, Bürklin Elektronik works exclusively with long-proven partners and tests new components already in the sample phase. Every delivery is checked at goods receipt – both through visual inspection and through firmly defined testing procedures. The internal processes are ISO 9001 certified, for the ESD area by.B meets the IEC 61340-5-1 standard. Legal requirements such as REACH and RoHS are fully complied with. Special testing procedures can also be individually set up upon customer request.

Flexibility for project-based development teams

Flexibility is a central promise of the by.B brand. All components are available in smallest quantities – normally from one piece and without minimum order quantity. With few exceptions, Bürklin Elektronik keeps all by.B items permanently in stock, so they are usually available immediately or within a few days. Those who order by 6 PM on weekdays receive stocked products on the next working day – within Germany.

For larger requirements, framework contracts with flexible call-off quantities are available. The online shop displays not only current stock availability, but also details about the next delivery and regular production time from the factory. This way, customers always keep track and can plan projects proactively.

Sustainability along the entire supply chain

Sustainability is an integral part of Bürklin's DNA and thus also of the by.B brand. From raw material to shipping, the company relies on environmentally friendly processes: Orders and series production are bundled to use raw materials efficiently and avoid waste. Short delivery routes from the heart of Europe reduce CO₂ emissions.

Materials are manufactured from recycled or sustainable raw materials whenever possible, and packaging is plastic-free. An example are the by.B resistor sets, which consist completely of cardboard, as do the refill sets. Furthermore, Bürklin Elektronik compensates for all CO₂ emissions from shipping – for the entire product range, not just for by.B.

Product range for all project phases

The by.B product range currently comprises around 4,000 items, including classic components such as resistors, printed circuit boards, fuses, stranded wires as well as mechanical components such as spacer bolts and fastening material. Especially for the prototype phase, by.B offers a well-combinable selection that facilitates the rapid implementation of first functional samples.

All products are provided with technical data sheets in the web shop, so developers receive all relevant information at a glance and can immediately decide whether a component fits the application.

Continuous strategic development

Bürklin Elektronik continuously develops by.B further to ensure smart, reliable and future-proof electronics distribution. The focus is on practical areas such as assortment boxes, tools for active and passive components, cable management and crimp connectors. In perspective, the range will also be expanded to include technical components such as high-load resistors.
