The combustion guard from WELDY was specially developed for the premium hand tools of the HG series.
True to the motto "Safety First", the combustion protection is designed to be placed on our angled hand tools so that when the maximum heating power of 650 degrees Celsius is set, there is only 80 degrees Celsius left at the combustion protection. Without the burn guard, the unprotected heating tube would have a temperature of 370 degrees Celsius. With a standard setting of 450 degrees heat output, the temperature would still be 280 degrees Celsius - with the combustion protection only 55 degrees Celsius.
This accessory is particularly useful in the field of car wrapping - but also wherever contact with the hot surface temperature of the heating tube can cause damage to the material to be processed.
In addition, the burn protection - due to its robust design - also protects the heating tube from damage when the hand tool falls.
