UHU plast spezial is a special adhesive for bonding polystyrene parts and a variety of other plastics in model making. The very fine metal cannula allows the adhesive to be applied sparingly and precisely, even in hard-to-reach places. A very low-viscosity adhesive that forms a viscoplastic, crystal-clear adhesive film.

Forms a strong but flexible adhesive bond with thermoplastic properties. Temperature resistant between -30 °C and approx. +90 °C and waterproof, resistant to oil and alcohol.

 

The following maximum values were determined (material breakage):

  • Plexiglas 3.0 N/mm²
  • Polystyrene 3.4 N/mm²
  • Rigid PVC 4.3 N/mm²
  • Polycarbonate 4.5 N/mm²
  • ABS 6.5 N/mm²
