The REF3140AIDBZR is a precision, low-power, low-dropout voltage reference available in a tiny 3‑pin SOT-23 package. The REF3140AIDBZR is the enhanced-performance version, designed for precision applications. It offers improved temperature drift and initial accuracy while operating at a lower quiescent current of 25 µA. The low power consumption and improved precision make the REF30E ideal for loop-powered industrial applications such as pressure and temperature transmitters, as well as battery-powered applications. The REF3140AIDBZR is specified over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The REF3140AIDBZR is easy to use in intrinsically safe and explosion-proof applications because it does not require a load capacitor to remain stable.
