UC2825N
High Speed PWM Controller, UC2825N, Texas Instruments
The UC1825 is a high-performance PWM control integrated circuit optimized for high-frequency switched-mode power supply applications. It is specifically designed to minimize propagation delays through its comparators and logic circuitry while maximizing the bandwidth and slew rate of the error amplifier. The UC1825 supports both current-mode and voltage-mode control systems and includes input voltage feed-forward capability.
Protection features include a current-limit comparator with a 1 V threshold, a TTL-compatible shutdown input, and a soft-start pin that also functions as a maximum duty cycle clamp. The internal logic is fully latched to ensure jitter-free operation and prevent multiple output pulses. An integrated under-voltage lockout circuit with 800 mV of hysteresis ensures low startup current and sets the outputs to a high-impedance state during undervoltage conditions, enhancing system reliability.
