TLE2061CP | Texas Instruments
Single operational amplifier, PDIP-8, TLE2061CP
JFET-input operational amplifier, TLE2061CP, Texas Instruments
The TLE2061CP of low-power JFET-input operational amplifier doubles the bandwidth of the earlier generation family without significantly increasing power consumption. Texas Instruments’ Excalibur process also delivers a lower noise floor. On-chip Zener trimming of offset voltage yields a precision grade for DC-coupled applications. The TLE2061CP device is pin-compatible with other TI BiFETs.
A BiFET operational amplifier offers the inherently higher input impedance of the JFET-input transistor, without sacrificing the output drive associated with a bipolar amplifier. This makes it better suited for interfacing with a high-impedance sensor or a very low-level AC signal. It also features inherently better AC response than a bipolar or CMOS device having comparable power consumption. The TLE2061CP device features a high-output-drive circuit capable of driving a 100-Ω load at supplies as low as ±5 V. This makes it uniquely suited for driving a transformer load in a modem or another application requiring good AC characteristics, low power, and high output drive.
