The LEA delivers up to 40× the performance of Arm Cortex-M0+ MCUs, enabling developers to efficiently execute complex functions such as FFT, FIR, and matrix multiplication. Implementation is simplified with a free, optimized DSP Library, requiring no specialized DSP expertise. With up to 256KB of unified FRAM memory, the MSP430FR5994IRGZR offers ample space for advanced applications and provides flexibility for seamless implementation of features like over-the-air firmware updates.
Built on the MSP430 ultra-low-power (ULP) FRAM platform, the MSP430FR5994IRGZR combines embedded FRAM with a holistic low-power system architecture, allowing designers to increase performance while reducing energy consumption. FRAM technology offers low-energy, fast writes and combines the flexibility and endurance of RAM with the nonvolatile behavior of flash memory.
