MSP430FR5962IRGZR | Texas Instruments
MSP430 microcontroller, 16 bit, 16 MHz, VQFN-48, MSP430FR5962IRGZR
Mixed-Signal Microcontroller, MSP430FR5962IRGZR, Texas Instruments
The MSP430FR5962IRGZR microcontroller (MCU) takes low power and performance to the next level with the unique low-energy accelerator (LEA) for digital signal processing. This accelerator delivers 40x the performance of an Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU to help a developer efficiently process data using a complex function such as FFT, FIR, or matrix multiplication. Implementation requires no DSP expertise with a free optimized DSP Library available. Additionally, with up to 256KB of unified memory with FRAM, this device offers more space for an advanced application and flexibility for effortless implementation of an over-the-air firmware update.
The MSP ultra-low-power (ULP) FRAM microcontroller platform combines uniquely embedded FRAM and a holistic ultra-low-power system architecture, allowing a system designer to increase performance while lowering energy consumption. FRAM technology combines the low-energy fast write, flexibility, and endurance of RAM with the nonvolatile behavior of flash.
