MSP430 microcontroller, 16 bit, 24 MHz, TSSOP-38, MSP430FR5739IDAR
Mixed-Signal Microcontroller, MSP430FR5739IDAR, Texas Instruments
The MSP430FR5739IDAR ultra-low-power microcontroller is a device that features embedded FRAM nonvolatile memory, an ultra-low-power 16-bit MSP430 CPU, and a specific peripheral targeted for a particular application. The architecture, FRAM, and peripheral, combined with seven low-power modes, is optimized to achieve extended battery life in a portable and wireless sensing application. FRAM is a new nonvolatile memory that combines the speed, flexibility, and endurance of SRAM with the stability and reliability of flash, all at lower total power consumption. The peripheral includes a 10-bit ADC, a 16-channel comparator with voltage reference generation and hysteresis capability, one enhanced serial channel capable of I²C, SPI, or UART protocol, an internal DMA, a hardware multiplier, an RTC, one 16-bit timer, and digital I/O.
