Mixed-Signal Microcontroller, MSP430FR2476TRHAT, Texas Instruments
The MSP430FR2476TRHAT microcontroller (MCU) is part of the MSP430 MCU value line portfolio of ultra-low-power, low-cost device for sensing and measurement application. The MSP430FR2476TRHAT MCU integrates a 12-bit SAR ADC and one comparator. The MSP430FR2476TRHAT MCU supports an extended temperature range from -40°C up to 105°C, so a higher temperature industrial application can benefit from the device's FRAM data-logging capability. The MSP430FR2476TRHAT MCU is supported by an extensive hardware and software ecosystem with a reference design and code example to get your design started quickly. A development kit includes the MSP-TS430PT48 48-pin target development board. TI also provides free MSP430Ware software, which is available as a component of Code Composer Studio IDE desktop and cloud version within TI Resource Explorer.
The MSP430FR2476TRHAT MCU is also supported by extensive online collateral, such as the housekeeping example series, MSP Academy training, and online support through the TI E2E support forum. The MSP430FR2476TRHAT ultra-low-power (ULP) FRAM microcontroller platform combines uniquely embedded FRAM and a holistic ultra-low-power system architecture, allowing a system designer to increase performance while lowering energy consumption. FRAM technology combines the low-energy fast write, flexibility, and endurance of RAM with the nonvolatile behavior of flash. The MSP430FR2476TRHAT low-power microcontroller is a device with a specific set of peripherals targeted for a particular application. The architecture, combined with an extensive low-power mode, is optimized to achieve extended battery life in a portable measurement application. The MCU features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, a 16-bit register, and a constant generator that contributes to maximum code efficiency. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows the MCU to wake up from a low-power mode to active mode in less than 10 µs (typical).
