The M0L1228QRHBRQ1 microcontrollers (MCUs) are part of the ultra-low-power, highly integrated MSPM0 family based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit core, operating at frequencies up to 32 MHz. These MCUs offer an ideal blend of cost optimization and design flexibility for applications requiring 128KB to 256KB of flash memory in compact packages (as small as 4 mm × 4 mm) or high pin-count configurations (up to 80 pins). Key integrated features include a VBAT backup island, cybersecurity enablers, and optional segmented LCD controller.

These devices also provide robust low-power performance across the full operating temperature range. The memory subsystem features up to 256KB of embedded flash with error correction code (ECC), and up to 32KB of SRAM with ECC and parity protection. Flash is organized into two main banks, supporting reliable field firmware updates with address swap capability between banks. An additional 32-byte backup RAM is available in the VBAT domain, retained independently of the main power supply (VDD).
