The SN74LVC08A dual 2-input positive-AND gate is designed for 1.65V to 3.6V VCC operation. This device performs the Boolean function Y = A • B or Y = A AND B in positive logic. The input can be driven from either a 3.3V or 5V device. This feature allows the use of this device as a translator in a mixed 3.3V/5V system environment.
