Decoder, PDIP-16, Texas Instruments SN74LS42N
Decoder, SN74LS42N, Texas Instruments
This monolithic BCD-to-decimal decoder consists of two inverters and one four-input NAND gate. The inverter is connected to make BCD input data available for decoding by the NAND gate. Full decoding of valid input logic ensures that the output remains off for all invalid input conditions. The SN74LS42N feature input and output levels that are compatible with most TTL and other saturated low-level logic circuits. DC noise margins are typically one volt. The SN74LS42N is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
