BCD decimal decoder, SOIC-16, Texas Instruments SN74LS145DR
BCD-To-Decimal Decoder/Driver, SN74LS145DR, Texas Instruments
This monolithic BCD-to-decimal decoder/driver consists of one inverter and one four-input NAND gate. The inverter is connected to make BCD input data available for decoding by the NAND gate. Full decoding of valid BCD input logic ensures that the output remains off for any invalid binary input condition. This decoder features a high-performance, n-p-n output transistor designed for use as an indicator/relay driver or as an open-collector logic-circuit driver. The high-breakdown output transistor (15 volts) of the SN74LS145DR will sink up to 80 milliamperes of current. The input and output are entirely compatible for use with TTL or DTL logic circuit, and the output is compatible for interfacing with most MOS integrated circuit.
