The SNx4HC573A device is an octal transparent D-type latch that features a 3-state output designed specifically for driving highly capacitive or relatively low-impedance load. It is particularly suitable for implementing buffer register, I/O port, bidirectional bus driver, and working register. While the latch-enable (LE) input is high, the Q output responds to the data (D) input. When LE is low, the output is latched to retain the data that was set up.
