CD4044BE | Texas Instruments
Quad-NAND-R/S-latch, with tri-state outputs, PDIP-16, Texas Instruments CD4044BE
CMOS Quad NAND R/S Latch, CD4044BE, Texas Instruments
CD4044BE type is a quad cross-coupled 3-state CMOS NOR latch and the CD4044BE type is a quad cross-coupled 3-state CMOS NAND latch. Each latch has a separate Q output and an individual SET and RESET input. The Q output is controlled by a common ENABLE input. A logic "1" or high on the ENABLE input connects the latch state to the Q output. A logic "0" or low on the ENABLE input disconnects the latch state from the Q output, resulting in an open circuit condition on the Q output. The open circuit feature allows common busing of the output.
Features
- 3-state outputs with common output ENABLE
- Separate SET and RESET inputs for each latch
- NOR and NAND configurations
- Standardized symmetrical output characteristics
- 100% tested for quiescent current at 20 V
Applications
- Holding register in multi-register system
- Four bits of independent storage with output ENABLE
- Strobed register
- General digital logic
