CMOS Quad NOR R/S Latch, CD4043BE, Texas Instruments

The CD4043BE type is a quad cross-coupled 3-state CMOS NOR latch. Each latch has a separate Q output and individual SET and RESET inputs. The Q output is controlled by a common ENABLE input. A logic "1" or high on the ENABLE input connects the latch state to the Q output. A logic "0" or low on the ENABLE input disconnects the latch state from the Q output, resulting in an open-circuit condition on the Q output. The open-circuit feature allows common busing of the output. The CD4043BE type is supplied in a 16-lead hermetic dual-in-line ceramic package (F3A suffix), 16-lead dual-in-line plastic package (E suffix), 16-lead small-outline package (D, DR, DT, DWR, or NSR suffix), and 16-lead thin shrink small-outline package (PW or PWR suffix).
