Voltage regulators, 2.6-15 V, 100 mA, positive, SOIC-8, UA78L15ACD
Positive-Voltage Linear Regulator, UA78L15ACD, Texas Instruments
The UA78L15ACD fixed-voltage linear regulator is designed for a wide range of applications. The UA78L15ACD can be used for on-card regulation to eliminate the noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. The UA78L15ACD can also be used with a power-pass element to make a high-current voltage regulator. The UA78L15ACD regulator can deliver up to 100 mA of output current. Additionally, the UA78L does not need an external capacitor for stable operation across the load current range. The internal current-limiting and thermal-shutdown feature of this regulator helps protect the device from overload. For the legacy chip, the UA78L15ACD is characterized for the junction temperature range of 0°C to +125°C.
