The SN75158P is a dual differential line driver designed to satisfy the requirement set by the ANSI EIA/TIA-422-B and ITU V.11 interface specification. The output provides a signal with high-current capability for driving a balanced line, such as a twisted pair, at normal line impedance without high power dissipation. The output stage is a TTL totem-pole output, providing a high-impedance state in the power-off condition.
