The 2-1879009-2 is a power wire-wound resistor that provides a high insulation resistance, low surface temperature, excellent TCR, and entirely fire proof construction. This product is ideally suited to areas where low cost, and efficient thermal performance are important design criteria. Metal film core adjusted by laser spiral is used where the resistor value is above that suited to wire.
