It is high purity copper with excellent solderability, making it the optimal solution for many applications. The solid PVC jacket can be easily removed. The contained side cutter is sharp and cutting and designed for fine work. The ergnonmic handle lies well in the hand and allows a good "grip". The pliers have a locking bar to keep them as compact as possible when not in use and to protect the blade or uninvolved objects that might be transported with them. The spring mechanism is inconspicuously integrated into the joint.
