The 7520 is a modern fuse with a ceramic body that offers much higher protection against damage to the measuring devices when tripped than conventional glass fuses. Due to the larger design, a voltage flashover between the internal fuse holders of modern devices can be effectively prevented even at high voltages of the test currents.
