Coating thickness gauges are used for non-destructive measurement of coatings such as paint, lacquer or plastic on metallic surfaces. The new PeakTech 5220 works on the eddy current principle and is suitable for both ferrous metals (Fe) such as sheet steel and non-ferrous metals (Non-Fe) such as aluminum or copper.
This meter operates with high precision and features a German and English user interface with menu control on the easy-to-read backlit matrix LCD display.
