The digital refractometer PCE-DRB 1 is a waterproof handheld instrument for the determination of the sugar content with a measuring range from 0 to 90 % Brix. The measuring result and the temperature of the medium to be measured are shown on the display. Depending on the type of refractometer, the measurement of sugar content and refractive index can be carried out quickly and easily with only four to five drops of sample liquid. The application areas of digital refractometers range from fruit harvesting to fruit sorting and inspection to quality control. Further applications can be found in the food industry for the control of ingredients and compliance with various standards.
