The LPC1225FBD48/321,1 microcontroller extends NXP's 32-bit ARM microcontroller continuum and targets a wide range of industrial applications in factory and home automation. Benefitting from the ARM Cortex-M0 Thumb instruction set, the LPC1225FBD48/321,1 achieves up to 50% higher code density compared to common 8-bit microcontrollers performing typical tasks. It also features an optimized ROM-based divide library for Cortex-M0, offering several times the arithmetic performance of software-based libraries, along with highly deterministic cycle times and reduced flash code size. The efficiency of the ARM Cortex-M0 core also helps the LPC1225FBD48/321,1 achieve lower average power consumption for similar applications.
