The switching contact is activated by the mating connector, offering the possibility to indicate, monitor, and control the mated connection. The switch provides one normally open and one normally closed contact. The 'State of the Art' receptacle: a round plastic-body XLR PCB-mount panel connector. It features the smallest size and highest packing density (23 mm between centers). Newly designed tulip-type contact with hard gold plating and polished contact area. Improved ESD performance with an asymmetric non-metallic push.
