8-bit DAC, the 8-bit value from the microcontroller port is converted into an equivalent analog voltage by means of R/2R resistance network, the R/2R DAC uses only two resistance values, but needs 2N resistors for N-bit conversion, the output is realized via MCP6284 operational amplifier that acts as buffer for load current consumption up to 20 mA.
