Simple connection of the serial LCD/GLCD with the GLCD 128 x 64 pixel and LCD 2 x 16 or 4 x 20 characters display, with on-board MCP23S17 16-bit I/O expander that reduces the number of MCU pins that are needed for operating the display. The expander provides SPI (tm) clock rates of up to 10 MHz for applications with higher throughput, the board is equipped with two long ribbon cables with IDC10 female headers.
