The MI 3299 10 kV high voltage demonstration box is designed for demonstration purposes in high voltage insulation diagnostics. It simulates typical electrical insulation commonly found in industrial environments. It is equipped with high quality resistors in different ranges, high voltage capacitors and a discharge device to simulate a breakdown phenomenon in gases. In addition, measurements of polarization index (PI), dielectric discharge (DD) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) can be demonstrated. Equipped with all these functions, the demonstration box is also well suited for basic calibration of DC high-voltage insulation resistance meters.
