The VITRALIT 1517 30 G is a UV-curable epoxy resin specially developed for fiber technology and optoelectronics. As a special feature, it has a thermal initiator, which enables subsequent curing in dark areas. It is characterized by a very high glass transition, very low shrinkage and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. It is used for fixing and adjusting optical devices as well as chip encapsulation and "dam" material.
