The METRAport 40S digital multimeters are suitable for universal use in general electrical engineering, electronics and automotive service.
The tilting technology enables the optimum adjustment of the reading angle; when the device is hung down, both hands remain free for measuring. If the instrument is closed, it switches off automatically, display and control unit are protected.

- Direct current measurement 10 nA ... 10 A via a socket and a resettable fuse (circuit breaker), signaling of overload and defective fuse
- Current measurement with clamp current sensors: the transmission factor from 1 mV:1 mA to 1 mV:1 A can be set and is taken into account in the display
- Temperature measurement with automatic Pt probe detection
