The ET20175Y1 is a current-limited N-channel MOSFET power switch with input voltage range selection and output voltage clamping. This switch operates with input voltages ranging from 2.5 V to 15 V, with surges up to 30 V. The current limit threshold is programmed with a resistor from SET to ground. An integrated current-limiting circuit protects the input supply against large currents that may cause the supply to fall out of regulation. The ET20175Y1 is also protected against thermal overload, which limits power dissipation and junction temperature. The quiescent supply current in active mode is only 200 µA. In shutdown mode, the supply current decreases to 10 µA.
