The ET8330A is a synchronous BUCK converter with I2C interface. The output voltage and dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) slew rate can both be programmed by I2C. When the load is moderate and heavy, the converter operates in PWM mode with 2.4MHz quasi fixed frequency. In light load condition, it can work in pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode to achieve high efficiency by setting VSEL pin to low. In PFM mode, the typical quiescent current is only about 30uA. Even with such low quiescent current, the load transient performance is still excellent, due to adaptive constant on time (ACOT) structure has been adopted in ET8330A.
