The PCB connector system is processed using surface-mount technology (SMT) and is therefore soldered directly onto the circuit boards. This connector in 0.8 mm pitch ensures double contacting on a single pin and establishes high redundancy. As a result, the contact system ensures safe, robust and gas-tight contacting despite external influences such as shocks, vibrations, thermal cycles and noxious gas. The geometry of the insulating housing is also designed in such a way that the contacts are submerged in the insulating body.
