A traditional company with vision
The mechanical engineer Karl Gärtner founded Telegärtner in 1945, thus laying the foundation for the long-established family company. At the beginning, the company focused on the production of components for telecommunications and military technology and soon expanded its range with high-frequency connectors.
In the 1970s, after Hartmut Gärtner took over the company, Telegärtner developed from a regional company into a global player. Since then, the Telegärtner Group has founded 14 subsidiaries.
Telegärtner took the next important step with the manufacture of data communication products. This was followed in the 1990s by the production of fiber optic connectors, and in 2006 the company finally began manufacturing dustproof and waterproof industrial connectors, which completed the product portfolio.
Since then, Telegärtner has strived to continuously develop its quality products and regularly introduces new and improved connectors. The goal: to be able to offer high-performance and robust connectors and cables that guarantee rapid transmission.
